Confused about REAL ID..having some problems.

So my fiancé and I share a battle.net account we each have different wow accounts though. We both have our own set of in game friends and IRL friends that play. However, when people add us on real ID and we are both logged in, we can not only read each others messages, but we are unable to invite different people from each other, and we are forced to share the same broadcasts and display name. Is this going to be fixed for family's that share battle.net accounts? Should I call the Blizzard hotline and try to see if they can separate our accounts so that we no longer share a battle.net? This has been a big inconvenience for us so far.
