Blizzard, you borked my faction change.

I faction changed last year and found pretty much straight away that i had no flight paths in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Talking with a GM confirmed it was a mistake with my faction change and there was no way to rectify it. I pretty much got a "there's nothing we can do, tough luck" response.

Right now i'm trying to complete the Loremaster achievement and only have the Icecrown zone left to do. I fell short by 20 or so quests and discovered another issue with my faction change. During the switch the Icecrown quest line leading up to the shadow vault is reset, and the phasing of the shadow vault area is also reset. My quest line was reset but the phasing was not making it impossible for me to complete the quests. I can still interact with all Ebon Blade vendors, quest givers etc when i should not be able to.

I waited 4 days for a ticket to be answered after which my issue was brushed off and i was told to re-do the quests which i know is not the issue. I'm now facing another 3+ day wait on this issue and haven't heard anything. "we can't help you" is not acceptable in this case. I was able to run the length of the world and pick up flight paths but this prevents me from completing Loremaster forever.

Really really need some feedback on this.

Cheers.

The shadow vault quest is SUPPOSED to reset, that has to be redone with a faction change.

You Ebon blade faction won't change, but you have to re-open that area.

Those quests usually start on the faction ships in the zone.

Q u o t e:
You aren't listening to me just like the GM i dealt with in game.

The questline was reset.

The PHASING was not.

Without the phasing i cannot do the quests!

Then I am truly not understanding your question, because the statement above is what should happen, which is why the opening chain has to be repeated.

They are hostile, yes?

They are supposed to be hostile till you repeat the questline to reopen the area.

I'm still unclear on this, I am sorry if it seems we are being a bit dense on this, but you seem to be describing what is supposed to happen.

Q u o t e:
No they are not hostile they are friendly.

I really don't know how to make this any clearer for you.

What is supposed to happen in a faction change:

Icecrown quests: RESET
Icecrown phasing: RESET

What happened in MY faction change:

Icecrown quests: RESET
Icecrown phasing: NOT RESET

Did you see the response from the Game Master on your last petition, Druidiot? They actually borrowed your character to have a look.

This was the resolution....

Q u o t e:
To resolve your version of the issue, I have gone ahead and completed the quest that are required to be in the phasing your character was stuck in. Your quest complete and quest available should now match for the Shadow Vault area. I did notice while working with your character that the dailies are also available.
