Hi. I am in the army and stationed in Germany. I play on the US Icecrown server, which is 8 hrs behind local time here, so I can still play with my friends. My question is, can I play on EU servers too, since I have made friends here that play as well? Here's to not getting my hopes up, but you never know until you ask.

You are able to play on the EU servers if you would like, Trybe, but it would, unfortunately, require you to purchase that version of the game. This is due to the fact that the two locations are completely separate from one another, and you are not able to access those realms without having the EU copy of the game.

If time of the realm, and thus the hours in which has high level of activity, is the biggest concern, then you may want to look into playing on an Oceanic realm.
