Parental Controls Not Working

When I go to set up the parental controls it says it has already been set up. When I go to retrieve the email, no matter what email I put in, all I get is a email to parental controls for my 2nd account. I am not receiving the email for my main account. It might be set up with another email that I don't remember. How do I fix this?

Just in case you didn't know, Parental Controls are now Battle.net account-specific; they are no longer WoW account-specific. If one of the WoW accounts merged to your Battle.net account had Parental Controls set up, the entire Battle.net should now adopt those settings. Similarly, the Parental Controls email address registered to that WoW account will likely be the one now registered to your entire Battle.net account.

So, when you say that you get an email to Parental Controls to 2nd account, does "2nd account" refer to a WoW account or a Battle.net account? If it refers to a WoW account, may I ask if your 2nd account and main account are merged with the same Battle.net account?

(Also, my apologies if this it at all confusing.)

The second account is under a second email.

Just for clarity, when you say "2nd account," you mean "a second Battle.net account," correct? I know my questions are a bit redundant, but I want to make absolute certain that I understand your issue fully. :)

If that's the case, may I ask if the account on which you are posting is merged with the Battle.net account on which you are now attempting to access Parental Controls? (e.g. is your posting account your main account)

Yes, the second account works fine and it is under a different battle.net.

Its my main account that I can not get access to. I believe the email the was first made with the parental controls no longer exist.

Thanks for bearing with me, Volcore. I do appreciate it. :)

If you believe that your main account has Parental Controls set up under a now-inaccessible email address, then you will want to contact Account Services at your next earliest convenience.

Also, just in case, one trick of the trade for calling in is to spam redial. It sounds silly, but it's actually quite a successful technique.

You may receive a busy message when trying to call in. The reason you'd receive that message is when our phone lines are completely full. This means that all representatives are on the line with other customers and all "on hold" spots are occupied. The good news is that those "on hold" spots free up all the time. So, if you're willing to redial a few times, you're very likely to get through. :)

i'm following you syndri >:D

I NEVER set up parental controls on this account which is why i'm rather ticked off :(

It appears that Parental Controls are indeed set up for your Battle.net, Gnomar.

Now, as I noted above, if a WoW account that is now merged with your Battle.net had Parental Controls set up, those settings (as of 3.3.5) would have translated to all accounts registered to that Battle.net account. Parental Controls are now managed at the Battle.net account level and not the WoW account level, so that is why the translation occurred.

If you are unable to access the email that is registered to Parental Controls, then you'll want to contact Account Services, as well. I provided the contact information for Volcore above. :)

I was wondering if the "parent" account is the same as my battle.net account, I tried sending it to the presumed "child's" account as well,

Since Parental Controls are already set up for your Battle.net account, Gnomar, you'll need to use the Parental Controls recovery option: https://us.battle.net/account/parental-controls/retrieve.html

When prompted to enter the "Parents" address, you will want to enter the email used to set up Parental Controls initially. If you don't recall ever setting up Parental Controls, then it's likely you won't remember the initial email, either, but that's okay! If you call our Account Services department, our representatives will be happy to assist. :)

I hope this all makes sense, by the way, and I do sincerely apologize any confusion.
