Real ID - display last name

I would like to have my Real ID to not show my full last name, maybe just my last initial. I believe that the Real ID feature uses the primary contact information as the name displayed. Due to security / functionality of the battle.net website I am unable to modify my primary contact information only my default shipping information. How do I make this change?

I am sorry, Reenah, but if you use Real ID there is not currently an option for it so show only partial information. It will show your full first and last name if you opt to use it. Please remember that the Real ID system is entirely optional.

It is unlikely that our Billing and Account Services department will be able to assist you as they would not be able to remove the last name from your account or adjust how the Real ID system currently works.
