I fully support the idea of chatting with other players not currently playing on my realm and would love to share this feature with MANY MORE PEOPLE THAN THE 3 OR 4 REAL LIFE FRIENDS I PLAY WITH.
This system has great potential to unite players that would otherwise only be able to chat a couple times a week. But as it is MANY players will not agree to use the system.
1) The friends of friends being able to see your real name goes too far
2) You used this system in the past with Diablo 2, bring it back more along those lines: Let us use an alias or some kind of gamer tag. (This name is fairly unique and I tend to use it for most games I play)
3) Limiting the number of players on my Real ID list to the people I know limits my use of the system to a nearly useless level
If you agree with those 3 statements /sign this and let blizzard know how you feel
This isn't about who's right or wrong, this is about seeing who is opting out of an otherwise great system because of the way it is being implemented. Please don't troll
