Does email change affect Blizzcon tickets?

My friend got my Blizzcon ticket this year, and I gave him all my info, including my battle.net email address.

I changed my battle.net email address yesterday, hoping that when they fix real ID to not display my full name I'd be happy sharing this new address, whereas I wouldn't share the old one with most people.

I'm slightly concerned now (hopefully for nothing) that since he can't change the ticket info, it will be stuck with my old email address, and may cause issues for me later on.

Can anyone point me to some official documentation on this topic?

As long as he used your real first and last name on the ticket you should have no problem picking the ticket up, Magealexis.

Shortly before the event he will be able to print the emails that contain the barcode you will need to pick up your ticket. You will then present that barcode along with your ID and you will then get your badge.
