ok, now i see all these ppl complaining about Real ID here and i got a suggestion for you, if your kids are the ones using the acct then turn the real id off under perental controls, secondly all you that are worried about your acct being hacked because of real id, get an authenticator, simple as that, they cant get into your acct if you have an authenticator. Also only give your email for real id to ppl you really trust and set up an email that is only for wow.

I guess its all really common sense that ppl need to start using in the game, if you dont know them then dont add them

everyone on my real id is also on my face book so i know i can trust them, they are ppl i know and game with everyday.

So Come On You Were ALL born with COMMON SENSE

You've provided some sound advice, Joshuaoluf. It's important to keep in mind, though, that Real ID may not be for everyone and that the concerns expressed by your fellow posters are valid and worth sharing.

I agree with you in that "knowledge is power," and understanding how Real ID works is the first step towards managing how or even if it will affect your game play. For this reason, I would encourage players who are still unfamiliar with Real ID to review the following documents:

And the following post for additional information about managing certain aspect of the service (including specifics on Parental Controls): http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=25578318100&sid=1
