Authenticator and Blizzard

Soo its been four days and I was told to call Billing to get my Authenticator removed from my account. Because my android phone needed to be wiped and restored and I lost my Authenticator App. Well low and behold I can never get through to billing (surprise surprise) and my patience with this matter is growing low. I can deal with not being able to play WOW, but what is pissing me off is I am pissing away days that I payed for to be able to play my account and due to ether utter lack of competence upon blizzards part with A. Not having the intelligence to hire enough people for customer service, or B. Making the process more annoying than it has to be.

So for god sakes I am asking for some help here.

Players report the best method is to immediately redial. Our phone queues are finite, but spots open all the time. That seems to be the best way to get into the queue.

This is done for your protection. How secure would an authenticator be if it was super simple to remove one? That's for your protection.

If you have the old serial number, this process will be simpler.

Anyone with a Mobile needs to remove their authenticator temporarily before upgrading, etc. Anything that will basically reinstall the app - will also give you a 'new' authenticator, i.e., a new serial number.
