World of Death Knights: Wrath of the DK's

Blizzard really needs to implement another hero class. Almost every 4-5 person I see now is a death knight. My groups have literally been almost 40%-50% dk's. I know people like to take the easy path and start at level 55, but I just see this problem getting worse in Cataclysm.

With the new race coming out, especially worgens, everyone that doesn't have a death knight will now create a worgen dk. A brand new race, you start at level 55... Warcraft is really gonna turn into 50% worgen dk's with 50% other dk's. Sure, they'll play the new starting zones till they reach level 12 in 4 hours, then start their worgen dk.

I just really like to see variety, and it's just making me sick that death knights have taken over the game, so much that I see groups banning dk's from joining them because there are just so many horrible ones. Blizz needs to make another hero class with Cataclysm to level out the rate of dk's.

It's not that I hate death knights, its just they all get out dpsed and out tanked and they are everywhere! And cataclysm is only gonna make it worse with everyone rolling a level 55 worgen death knight!

Methinks you might be exaggerating just a smidgen. In any event, we have no plans to add another class in Cataclysm. We don't want to saturate the game with new classes if they start to feel and play way too similar to existing classes. We came up with some unique class mechanics for death knights we ultimately think work very well. It's a much younger class and took some times to really fine-tune, but we're happy with the role they play in World of Warcraft now.

With two new races and a number of new race/class combinations available in Cataclysm, I have a feeling you're not going to see newly created characters overwhelmingly death knights.
