I have a minor that is using one of my accounts and now my information is going out to god knows who!!! VERY confusing how to turn this junk off!!!! This is the STUPIDEST thing I have EVER seen in a game with as much security issues as wow has already.

If blizzard wants to allow this type of communication then allow battle.net accounts to create Nicknames completely unrelated to emails, logins or ANY personal information like Sony or other companies that know what they are doing do it. This is almost criminal and a complete violation of customer privacy agreenments.

OMG!!!! As I am posting this thread the CoC at the bottom of this page says the following regarding whats not allowed:

[quote]Posts containing personal information about other players. Physical/email addresses, phone numbers, and inappropriate photos and/or videos./[quote]

So how are Posts containing personal information a violation on the forums but completely OK on the in game system? Can a blue please post a response to this question along with some directions on how to turn this stuff off???

Thank you for this response. Off to find out how in the heck to set up parental controls. Doesn't sound like this is an easy task.. :( This is rediculous.

It is not too terribly difficult, Bytz. If you are still looking to get started, please visit the following page: (https://us.battle.net/account/parental-controls/index.html).

In the event that you have any questions, I would ask that you first check the FAQ: (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/29885). If you are still unsure after you have checked there, feel free to contact us, and we will do what we can to assist you. :0)
