WotLK Difficulty, continued

I don't get where people get the "wotlk was ezmode" many of the encounters were the same difficulty as anything else that was presented in BC or now in cata. Do people just get stuck on ToC and the fact that ICC was out for a year? Naxx wasn't overly difficult but then again neither was Karazhan. On my server I didn't see consistently successful pugs for Naxx until ulduar.

Hell even a year later WITH the 30% buff many people still didn't manage to kill HM LK.


The huge change was LFD when it showed up late in the game and then what it turned into. And people working their way up (forgetting that they had). I still remember grinding HOR for the shriveled heart. No ZA/ZG group is any more fail than some of the HOR groups I was in ;) ...

I also got a lot better luck in Wintergrasp than I've gotten in Tol Barad.

I've said it before, Cataclysm is a victim of the successes of WotLK and the increasing cost of entry into WoW.

Should be interesting to see where it goes.
