This week's maintenance has been extended and is expected to conclude at approximately 1:00 PM PDT.

------------------------------------------

Goooooood morning, everyone! Another bright and shiny Tuesday is upon us. Exciting things are in the breeze!

Q u o t e:
We will be performing scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, June 22nd. Maintenance will begin at 3:00AM PDT and conclude at approximately 11:00 AM PDT. During this time, all realms and many web services will be unavailable.

Thank you for your patience.

Please remember that all times listed above are estimated. Realms could return to service a bit earlier or later than posted.

Also, as all maintenance schedules are provided in PDT (Pacific Daylight Time), should you not live on the pacific coast, you will need to adjust this time accordingly. Here's a quick to reference, however:
    HST = PDT - 3 hours
    MDT = PDT + 1 hour
    CDT = PDT + 2 hours
    EDT = PDT + 3 hours
    ADT = PDT + 4 hours
    Newfoundland = PDT + 4.5 hours
    GMT = PDT + 7 hours
    AEST = PDT + 17 hours

Last but not least, don't forget that this is an excellent time to run maintenance on your own systems by completing any pending OS, browser, and anti-malware software updates and then scanning your computer for possible threats. You may also want to read over the following sticky detailing a recently discovered vulnerability in several Adobe applications:

Be sure to review the Tuesday Recommended Reading List (below), as well, for more security information!

Oh, and one more thing! As noted, we are also expecting some web maintenance this morning, so the World of Warcraft forums may be unavailable in addition to web services that are typically unavailable with the realms in maintenance mode (paid character services, Battle.net Account Management, etc).

what no ui suggestions. no patchy goody suggestions ? ;)

*chuckle*, if you insist.

Never a bad idea!

To do a full reset UI, you will want to save your addons in another spot if you wish to preserve them.

Then rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders while WoW is shutdown. Reboot your system.

Note, if you are running Vista make sure your permissions are set so it does not undo your changes.

More detailed instructions for different operating systems, including Macs are here.
