What do I need to do now?

My son's account was hacked and of course, banned. I own this account and my minor son plays this account on his computer. Since noon yesterday, I have called and spoke with Billing and changed his email and wow password on my comp which is a secured machine. I also put in an email to Account Admin about this compromise.

I still cannot access the account, the message I get is that "this account is temporarily banned". Will it be unlocked? Or do I have to wait the 8-10 days for it to be accessible? I have done all the things that I have read here to do, still working on reformatting his computer. Thanks for any help!
