Accidental Race instead of Faction transfer

I made the mistake of accidentally using the race change rather than the faction change to go from Alliance to Horde on one of my characters.

I know it's impossible to get a refund when it involves either transaction, but if anyone else has run into this brief lapse of judgment were you able to have it switched + an the extra 5$ or am I pretty much boned and locked out for three days?

I tried calling B&A support, but they are unable to take the call since it's so busy.
