Refer a friend email not working

I am trying to set up a warcraft account for my wife and i have send her a recruit a friend invitation about 3 hours ago. she has yet to receive any email with an activation code or anything else for that matter. Please let me know if there are any issues at this time regarding the email system for refer a friend. ty

First, make sure your wife is checking her Spam folders, sometimes those emails are misidentified by various email programs.

Secondly, if you still can't get it to work, simply send the RAF invite to yourself. Then you can forward it on to your wife manually. The link in the email is not tied specifically to any registration email account for the recruited.
