Hello

Click on the link below to verify your Battle.net account e-mail address:
https://us.battle.net/account/email/confirm.xml?ticket=3F1AAEA77FA5301819D7812C07A30A6BE77728AF79B8C303AE140C23DE1BF2E4

This link will return you to Battle.net, where you can continue with the World of Warcraft account manage.

In addition, verifying your e-mail address will allow to use all the features of the Battle.net account. For example, you can register Blizzard games you own to a Battle.net account so that you can download them, free of charge, any time you want. E-mail verification will also add an additional layer of security to this Battle.net account.

Can you do something for me, Mojosi? Take a few moments to read over the following support article for more information on how to view e-mail headers:

How to Identify Fake or Phishing Emails:

Once you've taken a look at the header, please post it here so that we can look over it together. :)

Q u o t e:
Battle.net Account Email Verification - Action Required.

I did change a few letters and numbers in the reply link as well, in case this was legit. I just didn't understand why I would be asked to verify my email address for my Battle.net account. That's what prompted me here.

What you posted is the subject, Mojosi. The header will look something like:

Ok, after viewing the header as described, it appears the originating and email and return path are of an @hotmail account. In fact, I do not see a "blizzard" name at all in the header.

Aha! There you have it. Anytime you receive an e-mail you're not quite sure about, review the header information. If you have any lingering questions after reviewing the header, please feel free to post the header here and we'll do our best to help out! :)
