Kel'Thuzad once again unstable.

To avoid this being another rant post from an angry gamer, I'll try to keep it short. Kel'thuzad, out of all the servers I've personally played on and from what I've heard from friend on other realms, is by far the most consistently unstable realm. We're not overpopulated, yet we consistently have server crashes or unplayable nights. This week it started again. The past month has been plagued with server crashes for several hours at least twice a week. This week has been unplayable due to server-side lag every night since the Tuesday reset.

I, as well as the Kel'thuzad community, would dearly appreciate a solidified answer as to why our realm has been plagued with the conditions of an overpopulated realm without being one, as well as compensation in forms of free character moves, if possible.

I was going to simply move this to the Suggestions forum, Exo, but I didn't want you to misinterpret the reasoning.

First off, let me assure you that any current as well as ongoing issues are of great importance and our Realm Technicians are doing what they can to ensure the stability of Kel'Thuzad as well as the other available realms.

These matters are not always so black and white as to be easily resolved simply because they have happened on a reoccurring basis. Sometimes the issue is minor and easily found other times the cause of the issue is elusive and requires a great deal of troubleshooting. Also please note that any signs of an issue may only be detectable while the the issue has manifested itself.

I can't speak for our Realm Technicians and what they do in these cases but I can tell you from personal experience, as I have seen several of these issues where one particular realm has a reoccurring issue over several weeks, even months, and can say that our staff usually does not give up until the issue has been resolved.

Those of us who moderate this forum though are not liaisons with our Realm Technicians nor can we entice them to provide answers to your questions. They are doing what they need to and are unable to provide specifics to temporary or ongoing issues. If we are able to provide any additional information though we will do so.

As for Free Character Moves, you are welcome to post in the Suggestion forum if you wish to make such a request but it has never been our habit of providing Character Moves for transient issues such as this. Our goal is to get the issue resolved not provide mass exodus.

I am sorry for what frustration this matter causes you and those on your realm in the meantime, Exo.
