Ok...the guy is STILL spamming for hours on in the 'I think I broke it' robot on Destromath. He does this every six seconds from around 8pm till 3am or later...for last two weeks.
I made numerous tickets to GM's and yet, he still persist. There is absolutely no way he does this without automation...and the harassing nature makes it worse.
I give up.

Did you also see the response that Syndri provided, Oxnix?

You have submitted a total of 4 petitions on this account regarding this matter. All within 2 days of one another. 3 of them within 3 hours of each other.

I understand the frustration this may be causing you and your issue is important to us but it is also important to keep a few things in mind.

First, such matters are not resolved instantly. It takes time to look into such reports and take what actions are appropriate. Second, not all penalties will be given a suspension. We try to educate our players whenever possible, if they continue exhibit the same behavior and it is considered to be a violation of our policies they will likely move their way up the penalty volcano.

Also, when you come across spam, be it advertisement or otherwise there is a feature that allows you to quickly report it. Simply right click on their name in the chat window and select Report Spam. This will not only ignore their account for your play session but forward a report to have the matter looked into.

If you wish to provide feedback regarding the assistance you have received thus far you'll want to write to [email protected]. That would be the appropriate avenue to express your concerns.

Folks, enough with the if you don't like it quit. That is their right if they wish but that is not always the answer. This situation is obviously frustrating, if you are unable to provide helpful advice please take a break.

Oxnix, what you are reporting isn't technically spam. The player themselves is not saying what you claim them to be saying. It is a pet that they have out.

I understand that the sound from the pet can be irritating when it repeats. Our Developers are aware of the feedback regarding this matter and will do what they can to address player concerns.

Oxnix, please take a breath.

I do not respond to in-game petitions. My job is to moderate this forum and to provide what advice I can.

Q u o t e:
Finally, answer this question...had I said 10,000 - 50,000 dirty words...what would you do?

I would advise you against it. I would refer you to our policies on harassment, inappropriate language and spamming. As I said though I do not respond to in-game petitions so if someone reported you for it I would not be looking into the report or taking the appropriate actions that it warranted.
Q u o t e:

What excuse do you have for not simply logging on to the sever and seeing he is afk...yet his robot continues ....please tell me how he can do this without automation.

Not responding is not the same thing as automation, Oxnix. I can easily watch TV for hours at a time while hitting one button every few seconds. Using a third party program to automate game play can carry a fairly hefty penalty. You may be able make judgments based off of the very limited amount of information you have available to you, Oxnix, but we require a thorough investigation.

I understand that you are upset that we apparently have not reacted the way that you want us to. I'm sorry, that really can't be helped as we have specific policies and procedures that must be followed.

Q u o t e:
You have no intention on doing anything. I am very serious that I want my account banned. If you refuse to ban (or even talk) to this guy after 10,000 (!!!!) offenses...find a reason to perma ban me.

I'm sure you are competent enough to cancel your own account if that is what you wish to do. I don't believe that is your goal though, you are simply trying to express in a loud and foot stompy way that you are frustrated by what you have been experiencing.

I understand that and I can assure you that the matter will be properly reviewed and appropriate actions will be taken. We will be unable to provide any specific information on what that may or may not entail though.

In the future, if this behavior continues, I'd ask that you report it in a clear and concise manner. Meaning submit an in-game petition with the name of the player, the d you are looking for is this one: Ð. Make sure you state that the person is using the Lil'XT in order to disrupt the area. You may also mention that he seems to be using a macro or other method to continually cause the pet to shout its message.

Now you are simply being obtuse, Oxnix.

No one is supporting the sounds that the player's pet is obviously using to disrupt the area, Oxnix. They are simply saying that you have options and that you seem to not actually understand anything except that we aren't doing what you want as quickly as you'd like it.

I believe we are done with this discussion.

It should be noted, Oxnix, if I were to suspend it would just be on the forums. If you wish to have your posting privileges removed I can make that happen but I would rather not. The forums are a great medium for finding and sharing useful information. Though it is important that one be willing to listen to what is said.

You were the one asking the question, Oxnix, you said "What would you do if I did X".

Now you are upset that the answer was to advise against such behavior? The person you are referring to isn't the one asking the question, Oxnix, you are.

Goodness. Perhaps it would be best if you take a break from posting, perhaps that will give you some time to actually read and comprehend the responses.
