Character locked after 'successful' transfer

So I go through the character realm transfer process and get the following email,


"The Paid Character Transfer for the character SHAYN on the SHADOW COUNCIL realm has been completed successfully. This is for the World of Warcraft account .XXXXXX


- The transfer has moved this character to the Barthilas realm. The character should be available for play on the destination realm the next time you log in to World of Warcraft."

I log on, but, no character,

So I check the transactions page and there is a msg saying
"The following characters have been successfully transfered, but have not been automatically unlocked. You may unlock them by pressing the "Unlock" button. "
Which I do, only to get a very detailed error message saying,
"An error has occured"

Anyone else seen this? I've made several transfers with no problems in the past.
