I don't see this reported elsewhere, so maybe it was just me, but when I clicked on the seahorse mount, my character hopped on an invisible mount and sped off, and the seahorse mount stayed facing in the opposite direction, and was dragged backwards behind me (as if I were towing it instead of riding it, except it was about two feet behind me and to the left).
