Faction Change Mail Error

Hi I am trying to faction change this toon but I keep getting

An error has occurred on this page A character cannot change factions while there is mail in their mailbox or en route to their mailbox.

My mail box is clear from my end but after reading up I am assuming I have some hidden mail which i cannot see

Your character should have his mail cleared at this point, mate. You may need to allow roughly ten minutes before you can initiate the Faction Change, however after that point you should be in the clear.
