I just can’t understand how I can pay all that money and you don’t have a backup of the previous years’ worth of data.

It’s very frustrating being handed 800 Gold from a GM and that is supposed to buy back the gear I have lost; that’s like “here’s 800 Gold shut up thanks, come again!” I understand you’re busy. But come on. That’s not even one 226 piece on the AH.

Just imagine, you go back to UNI and stop playing wow with this account still in mind. You finish your study dust down your computer and wait 4 hours while you download patches. Just to find out you can’t log in.

You check your email to find its password is changed so reset it with your current email.
Wait 10 days and have your gear and gold restored just to have it hacked once again, on a clean PC (I was email hacked the second time)
So you purchase another copy of Wow forget about your account, and start again.

6months later you start thinking about that hunter you lvl’ed to 80 that you played from Vanilla, so you merge all your old accounts smiling just to find out that Blizzard aren’t keeping backups over 7 months anymore, But here’s 800 gold buy yourself some greens!

I have been a customer of Blizzard for a very long time.

I have 3 copies of WOW, 3 of BC, 2 of WRATH , WC2 WC3 , TFT , 3x SC ,3x BW, D1 and D2 and was also testing the Sc2 beta with feedback.

All my family and friends also play one or more of the above games because of recommendation from me, Blizzard has easily made over 2k cash from me alone ( I have enjoyed playing all the games)

I had over 4k of Gold and a Full PVP set on this Char (Slavonic Jubei Thos); I was also raiding Nax and Ulder (10 months ago)

I don’t understand how you can’t return my items and gold (What about my BOP Epic/PVP items that were restored last time from over a year before when I was previously hacked)

Thank you for the 800 Gold but it is very disappointing.

Please don’t let me down after all the money I have paid this Company, don’t forget about the little guys, Back in the WC2 days on battle.net , SC1 Vanilla.

Could I please have my PVP gear restored or badges to get more?
Could I please have my Raid gear restored or badges to get more?

I don’t really care about the 4k + gold I have lost. (Well I really care) But the equipment is what is important; you can’t buy PVP gear with 800 gold or much.

The only outcome of me not receiving this will be closure of that account and your – $45 AUS every three months. Yeah you don’t mind… I’m just one stupid guy right? plus you know I have another account.

On a side note; My celestial Steed never arrived, even know it says completed now.

The issue here is age, Slavonic.

Yes, the characters were able to be undeleted, but records of what they may have had are long gone.

The 800g was over and above in an attempt to help you start reconstruction.

Restorations are very time-sensitive. It's important to report them promptly.

I do see you have another petition in, and we can take another look - but I truly cannot promise we'll be able to find anything more at this late date.

Q u o t e:
Yeah, I know Blizzard are doing their best but honestly, in my opinion, it's just not good enough. Paying $15 a month should ensure your account will never be deleted. I myself am waiting for a restoration and have been for over a week now which I believe is unacceptable taking into account the massive amounts of money Blizzard makes on a monthly basis. I'd be happy waiting a couple of days, but 2 weeks is ridiculous. If you're going to slug us with a 14+ day wait, give us an option to pause our game time.

If these hackers are out of control, hire more staff. I'm confident you can afford it.

Actually, restorations are a courtesy. Your gaming fees pay for realm access alone.

I know that's not what you want to hear right now, and I am sorry for the wait, but restorations are never guaranteed. If you have access to your account, you are more than welcome to play. I know that is also not what you want to hear right now, but the realms are there should you wish to explore a new character, class, realm or faction.

The very best way to avoid this type of interruption of service is to prevent it before it ever becomes an issue. Through good security habits, vigilance and care, and also adding an authenticator to your account as an extra layer of defense, a restoration should just never have to be in your future.
