My buddies 2nd account was hacked today, she said shes already filed a ticket to a GM on her main account.
-deleted since you guys see deleted texts- and i think may be doing something illegals. I've heard of "Underground mining" or what not that some hackers do, and activity feed on armory shows mining being levelled up since its been compromised.

So if its possible for you guys to do a quick character check to see if its doing anything illegal it'd be appreciated. (Outside of being hacked >.> But eh, i know owner has to report that stuff and she's got a ticket open apparently.)

I appreciate your concern, but alas, we're not in a position to confirm the activities of another player's character - even one that might be compromised. Fortunately, your friend isn't powerless and with a little luck we'll be able to help her recover access to the account soon. The guide in this sticky can help:

Account Hacked? Security Issue? Look Here!
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=24702231244&sid=1

In the event that the character was up to some nefarious activities and the account is suspended, she can send an email to wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com, and our staff will be happy to investigate the situation appropriately.

Just as a note, it's taking about a week and a half or so for restoration investigations to be completed, and it's worth noting that this estimate is very rough and subject to change. Nonetheless, please wish her luck on a swift and complete restoration on my behalf.

Kind of the right place friend. Basically if you suspect someone of hacking report them using the in-game petitioning system, this will of course get your friends account banned. However this can be contested after she/he gets control of their account back. (and obviously will prevent any further damage to her/his reputation etc.

Actually, these days it should be sufficient to submit a petition stating that you suspect that a friend's account has been compromised (in this case, she's already done so, so it won't be necessary). It's probably best not to report it for exploitation specifically, to avoid confusion.
