I transfered my lock from alliance to horde - I found that the shadow vault fp was missing despite being exhaulted with ebon blade -- after opening a ticket I received a response about 12 days later saying I just had to redo the shadow vault opening quests, and yes the argent tournment quests - gee I feel Blizard ifsnot exactly up front about these transfers, they give the impression they are more or less seamless - and dont mention spend hours redoing old quest lines ---

To tell you the truth -- I felt like I had ben lied to ...

I have redone the quests . but will have a hard time trusting blizzard again, especially 30 dollars woth.

Hi Elfstone--

I'm sorry to hear that this caught you off-guard. As some of the other posters here have acknowledged, this is covered in the FAQ:
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&tag=FCFAQ

**Please note that quest lines associated with Sons of Hodir, the Shadow Vault, and the Argent Tournament will be reset. To regain access to the dailies associated with these factions, the character will need to re-complete the appropriate quests. This can also include faction-specific plot quests such as the Battle for Undercity, which will be available with the new faction.**

That said, I also know this isn't immediately apparent from the disclaimers that you see when you are purchasing the faction change. I don't want you to feel as though we are trying to trick anyone into these services, since that's decidedly not the case. All I can offer is some perspective.

I have been involved in writing many of the disclaimers that have appeared on our 'character services' dating back to Paid Character Transfers. Unfortunately, the intricacies of moving a character between servers, races, factions, carries a lot of details. We have to use the FAQ because writing every single change (or possible scenario) out on the purchase page would make it, well, ten pages long.

In the end, we try to strike a healthy balance between the absolute-must-know details during the purchase, and call out the "further reading" FAQ so people can read up on the other miscellaneous items. I hope that the questing is going smoothly for you on the Horde side-- both Ebon Blade and beyond!
