Restoring a vendored item?

Being ignorant as I am, I accidentally sold the 277 version of my 264 gloves [Aldriana's Gloves of Secrecy] to a vendor, which I received last night in a guild raid of 25 player Icecrown Citadel. After logging out for a few hours without noticing, I logged back in to find them gone and that they weren't on the buyback tab of any vendors. This happened after I used the equipment manager, and the normal ones (264) were equipped, and I vendored the heroic version (277) thinking that it was the now obsolete 264 version. I know Blizzard can restore stolen/compromised items etc, but I was wondering if I can get these gloves restored at all? any advice or help would be appreciated, I am quite anxious.

Thank you in advance.

Submitting a petition requesting these be restored is the best course, Daetheus.

The exact item name would be most helpful.

Vendor lists do clear when you log out - and usually if you zone.

We can certainly look into getting these back to you.

Thanks for the response, Orlyia.

I have opened a ticket with the exact name as you said, but do you have any indication how long this type of thing would take? ie is it a high priority or does it sit back in the queue?

With the exception of a few types of issues, most petitions are worked in the order received.

This one is certainly important to us - and to you, but restorations of this nature would be in the general queue.

At the moment, those are running just a few days, but they will get back to you as soon as possible.
