Hi all,

I'm a AH freak and when cataclysm is out i plan to go back to the horde side and probably on a different server (i miss pvp server too much).

Server transfer have a gold limit (i dont recall if its 20k or 50k) but anyway i was planing of asking RL friend that will xfer with me to carry gold for me and trade it back when the xfer is done. Also i plan to buy lot of Mekgineer's Chopper and simply resell them on the new server.

Since those thing are "work around" to "bypass" that limit i was wondering if its legal or not ? I dont want to get in any trouble.

Thank you.

Provided that you do not sell your gold for real-world currency, engage in account sharing, or use third-party automation programs to execute your plans, Earthquakes, you should be fine. There's nothing actually wrong with what you've thought up. :)

Please note, though, that liquidating your assets through this method is not technically supported by Blizzard Entertainment. By this I mean that you are welcome to purchase the Mekgineer's Choppers and bring them to your new realm, as well as elicit your friend's help as a pack mule, but should anything go awry, our In-Game Support staff may not be in a position to assist. Just be careful, discuss everything with your friend in-game in detail, and make sure all of your ducks are in a row prior to transferring.
