I'm afraid the Game Master department is unable to determine if or when compensation is granted for unexpected down time. My best advice is to post in the Suggestion forum where those who do make that determination can review it.

I can assure you that the pattern of downtime is noted and if compensation is decided on it will be done so after the overall issue has been resolved. It may even be awarded without an announcement, which is fairly common. You simply need to look on your Account Management page under Payment history for awarded credit.

I hope to have an update on the realm soon. I will return as soon as I get it.

We are not liaisons with our Realm Technicians so what information I obtain is not always guaranteed. Those that are in a more direct contact post the available updates in the Service Status forum.

I hope to means that, from my experience, given how long it has been, there is a good possibility that an update or notification of a resolution should be available soon. I don't like to give time frames that I'm not privy to so I do not have a more definitive estimate.

You seem to have mixed subjects, Barrik, the line referenced is talking about updates, not compensation, assuming that is what comensation means. :)

Indeed. It looks like they may have found the cause of the issue and hope to have the realm back online within 15 minutes or so. I will let you know if I hear anything different.

Unfortunately it seems that the issues being experienced with the realm are more severe then it was originally thought. They are working to resolve the issue and hope to have the realm back up as soon as possible. I'm afraid I don't have an estimate on when that may be but as soon as I hear anything I will let you know.

We close? I wasn't aware of this. In-game support is here, 24/7. Billing and Tech Support ( those who help with installation and running the game for individuals) is limited by hours. Realm Technicians, DBA's, etc... are nearly always available or on call.

Not forgotten about your realm folks, techs are still on it.

I dislike no updates - updates, but wanted to pop in and let you know it's still being looked at.

So far, so good. My toon locked out with the "A character with that name already exists" error is now free and I successfully did an instance. My other toon hung up on a dungeon loading screen managed to finally zone in and then get out. That toon's in a queue for a random right now.

I think they're ironing out the wrinkles.

That particular message can happen if the exit from the world was, ummm, 'ungraceful'. What it means is that character is actually still ingame and hasn't auto-logged out yet.

Sometimes logging in another character on that realm will force the first one offline, but it normally resolves in 5 min or so.
