Trial upgrade fail

I recently did a refer a friend trial game and the same night decided to upgrade. I read about the 72 hour wait so my boyfriend and I decided to go to the store and get a time card. When I entered in the code and everything and it was successful. Good thing right? No. I went back into the game, and still had the trial restrictions no matter how long I waited. Then today, I went to get back on and check and yup, still had the restrictions. So we thought, hey maybe if we buy the store game it'll upgrade quicker, did that. Now it's saying Error whenever I enter in the CD Key and Billing/Account Services/Battle.net is all whacked out and too busy to take a phone call or even get online for that matter. What's the point in paying $50+ and suggesting to buy time card/regular game if I'm still suck on either Trial Mode or no one can help me? It makes me wonder where my money is going that I pay monthly for this game.

Q u o t e:
If you paid for the basic upgrade to the game itself (not the game time, but buying the regular version of WoW) via the online store, it's probably waiting for that payment to process before removing the trial restrictions

Correct. The method of payment for game time does not affect the upgrade from trial to standard account. If you upgraded online the trial restrictions may still take up to 72 hours to be removed. By upgrading online you have already added a CD Key, attempting to add another from the same version will not work.

I am sorry for what confusion that may have caused.
