Q u o t e:
I was in a arathi basin and got kicked off, took a 10 minute break and when i tried to log in my password is wrong, not only that but my email password also appears to have been changed making it so that i cant change my wow pw.
Well, this has indeed been compromised, Evil. I've asked this be locked up for you since they were still in.
I need you to check your email for further instructions on that. I believe this has already been reported and put into investigations for you as well - that will take some days.
What you need to do now is figure out how they came by your password and ID to be able to add that authenticator.
I'm going to post the full instructions below, but the security bits are the parts that are of concern to you at the moment in this particular case.
---------------------------
If an account has been merged to a Battle.net, or if an email has been changed, or an authenticator added to the account (not the player's own) one of your first stops is going to be Billing. They need to get those sorted out first so the rest of the processes can continue.

All other international players should call: (949) 955-0283
Now, it's very very important to figure out where the security breach occurred. If they CAN get back in, they WILL be back. That, unfortunately, you can count on.
These two stickies should prove helpful.
