A bit unhappy...

So I've seen many friends have their Dartol's Rod of Transformation items returned to them, years after they completed the quest chain which it is involved in. This is the rod that turns you into a furbolg. I was told in my GM's response that it's intended to be deleted upon finish of the quest chain... then why do so many of my friends who've completed it have it?

I think your sources may be misremembering the situation slightly, Deltrus. As you were informed, this item, Dartol's Rod of Transformation, is indeed intended to be removed from the player upon completing the chain of quests it is associated with. There are players that choose not to complete the quest line simply to hold onto the item. Unfortunately, if you have completed the quest chain that involves this item, like you appear to have on this character, there is nothing the Game Master staff can do to assist you in retrieving it.

Unless I am mistaken on the intended function of this rod, Funarhri, it is meant to be taken away, automatically, once you complete the chain. If I am incorrect, I would be happy to be so in this situation, as that means that we may be able to assist Deltrus after all. My understanding of the chain, though, is as I mentioned above.
