Gold for in-game services allowed?

The other night a discussion started in General that certain in-games services could not be sold for gold. This toon, as you can see, is on Moon Guard and has been selling the services of which the Moon Guard Goldshire has become most well known for almost a year now, but some people were saying that you can not sell or advertise such things as per WoW "rules."

I have an extensive clientèle list and many repeat customers, and I don' t see how this is any different from paying someone to boost your arena team, paying tanks to run a heroic, or even crafting an item. I have tried to scour the ToU but my eyes began to bleed a quarter way through, so I was wondering if anyone more familiar with it could shed some light on this matter.

Also, before this erupts into a discussion about what I am selling, keep in mind that people play this game for many reasons, and to not pounce on a judgement before bothering to see all sides :)

The sale of in-game currency for in-game services, while in many cases unsupported, is permitted so long as the both elements of the transaction are in accordance with in-game policy. By this, I mean that the currency must be obtained legitimately and the service provided must not violate any of our rules governing game play.

As a refresher, relevant policies may be found here:

If we receive reports of conduct in violation of these policies, we will investigate and proceed accordingly.
