Account compromised then banned?

Ok this weekend my account was compromised and I managed to get it back last night.

However after only playing an hour or two I was disconnected and promptly banned.

The e-mail I received said I was banned for spamming, something I have never done. This leads me to believe it happened during a time I was not in control of my account. Is there anyway to get my account un-banned?

I'm glad you've taken steps to make sure your system in good shape-- that's a critical first step. As long as you have your ticket in the system, and assuming no unusual issues, it may be 1-2 weeks to complete the start-to-finish handling. That includes recovering your login information and as many missing items as possible.

It's hard to overstate how many players are falling victim to account theft like this -- both casuals and computer-savvy players alike -- but our GMs, and Account/Technical reps are working to get to everyone as quickly as possible, in the order received.
