Server Under Siege?

So the last few days, I've seen a rash of low-level characters, often with random names like "pecstaka" and "Fimuzeao", floating through Orgrimmar and making web-site names with their bodies (often moving in unison).

After a few minutes, they disappear, then do it all over again, often appearing in thin-air and moving around with hacker-like ability.

What is the best way to report these happenings, in a way that is traceable? With text-based spam, I can use the "Report Spam" feature, but with something like this, there doesn't seem to be a way to "mark" it like you can with text.

Is an in-game ticket with a description of what's going on enough? If so, what sorts of information are needed to be able to pinpoint when this kind of thing is going on; just the ticket timestamp?

Thanks,

Unfortunately this is the latest effort by the purveyors of illicit gold and other such activities to advertise their wares.

Our Developers are very much aware of it and are working to remove the ability to advertise in this way. Unfortunately the methods used use the games normal mechanics so it may take awhile to end this without negatively impacting the normal game. In the meantime please submit a petition whenever you see it. If you use the phrase "Body Spam" or "Body Advertisement"along with a generalized location (i.e. By the bank in Orgrimmar) that should call attention to the matter quickly and a Game Master will be dispatched to clear it up.
