My account has been hacked.

I haven't played wow in the last 7 months. Since then the accounts require battle.net accounts associated with them. While I was gone...someone has hacked my account and linked it with their battle net account. I can no longer do anything with my account. I have all 3 CD keys and my information, but blizzard does not seem to respond to my emails. I really dont know what else to do. I was really wanting to come back to the game but I dont want to have to relevel 4 80s again.

Anyone else have this problem....I really want my account back. I keep getting spam emails from blizzard about password changes, buying gold warnings, and misconduct that I am not responsible for. Even if I dont play anymore, I would rather my hard work lay dormate than be in the hands of some jack a** that messes up my char.

Plz help blizzard....I am tired of your spam emails

Well, first off, it is important to followup on this as soon as possible if you've been compromised. The faster a compromise is reported, the better the results will likely be.

Now, onto these emails. It sounds like you've been getting phishes just from the subject matter you are reporting. Pop open the internal routing headers of those - I'll wager the majority of them are NOT from Blizzard, doesn't matter what the FROM line says. If you responded to any of them or went to any non-Blizzard websites, your system may have been infected and that is likely the source of the compromise itself.

Can you give me a character name/realm on the account in question?

Well, I did find it.

What you'll need to do is verify you are the original account holder with Billing as a first step. They are likely going to required documentation of identity.

I'd try giving them a call first.
