Randomly my World of warcraft setting reset themselves, including interface, video options, etc. Now my main problem is in game my /1 is set to Looking for Group, which i do not like...and /2 is Crb1, or something like that, and /3 is some jibberish, I want to set it back to my old settings which were

/1 General
/2 Trade
/3 Looking for group

and also I can send whispers and what not, but no chat shows up, so i cant see what people are saying back...i cant see what anyone is saying at all.

The /resetchat option is something you may want to use to resolve the current issue you are experiencing, Omgitsjoe. However, if the underlying problem is with addons getting in the way and mucking things up, you may want to check out those settings to ensure they are not negatively affecting your game play.

Alternatively, if your video settings are also being affected, this may be a situation in which you look to your computer settings to see if that is the cause of the problem. If you are using Windows Vista start the game again using the World of Warcraft Launcher, when starting the game right click on the game icon, and select Run As Administrator. This will make sure that any settings you change in game are saved correctly.
