My signature keeps disappearing

I'm not sure where to post this, so I'm going to try here.

My signature for the forums keeps disappearing, and I don't know why. This started about two weeks ago when my longtime signature of, "Healing is 80% boredom and 20% OM<removed>G FASTER FASTER <removed> IS HE DOING IN THE FIRE DAMNIT TO HELL CRIT CRIT PLZ CRIT <removed> TANK DAMN SQUISHIES OMG." disappeared.

I just shrugged and re-entered it. No harm, no foul.

Now it's disappeared again, and I'm wondering if I've somehow done something wrong. I don't have any emails in my inbox about the subject, but I'm wondering if I've violated some policy without realizing it? What could be causing this?

There are some acronyms which include profanity. If your sig is getting reported, then our Moderators might be removing it without suspending your account.

Perhaps try a new signature that expresses the same frenzy without acronyms which include profanity?

You are welcome to your opinion, but in this case I'm afraid that your opinion is irrelevant. Our rules are rather clear on the subject of masked profanity; this includes acronyms.

No no no no no...the reason I ask is that because it wasn't filtered, it never occurred to me that it was not okay. If it had been filtered, I would have removed the signature immediately. I'm just confused because I never got an email saying, "Look, this isn't cool" when they were (ostensibly) deleted. I honestly thought it was my computer (or maybe even someone logging into my forum account and doing it).

I was merely pointing out a possibility, not an absolute. There's a chance that there is a technical issue that is causing your settings not be saved, though that is less likely.
