How much resilience do I need ?

I've been gearing up in battlegrounds for the last few weeks and bascially been getting destroyed. I have no problem with that as I've been told resilience will fix the problem. Right now I'm at close to 750 and rogues are still critting me for well over 11000 damage with a ambush and soon after they do a evis for 10k + again. Working as intended ?

Basically what I'd like to know is what resilience I should be aiming for ( Affliction warlock ) and maybe a few tips against rogues / feral. I feel like a free HK to them right now.

As a caster you're definitely going to want to surpass 1,000 resilience. 1,200 would be ideal for survivability.

Why do clothies have to stack more resilience then melee to survive?

I don't do anything drastically different between my warlock and death knight when it comes to gearing for PvP. I stack as much resilience as possible through gear and trinkets, then as much offensive stats as possible via enchants and gems (with the exception maybe of 1 unique-equipped yellow resilience gem).
