I've been having this problem off and on for a few months. I'll log on and it doesn't matter where I am or what I'm doing, I can randomly disconnect at any time.
I've disconnected in Battlegrounds, Arena, Raids, Heroics, Regular Dungeons, and in random places through the "World".
There's no warning whatsoever that something might be coming (60 fps and no lag whatsoever) until I freeze for about 5 seconds and it boots me back to the account log-in screen and says that I've been disconnected from the server. I can always log back in again immediately without any issues.
I've deleted all my add-ons and reset my WoW folders but the problem persists. I've actually re-downloaded all of WoW thinking that maybe something got corrupted but it hasn't fixed anything.
I've heard from other people in game on my server and other servers (through Random Dungeons) that they're having the same issue but they can't figure out what's causing it.
When this happens it's only my WoW that disconnects as well, my internet is completely fine.
I should also mention that it doesn't happen all the time - sometimes I'll go for a month or two with no problems then another month I can d/c a few times per session for a few weeks.
I'm not sure why I'm paying for a game that randomly d/c's me - it kills the fun in whatever I'm doing - whether it's wiping the group that I'm tanking/healing, or getting an automatic arena match loss, or dying in a BG.
I'd like to see a response as to why this is happening.
