Blackrock

It looks like the realm has gone offline and has not yet recovered, Hamat. Our Realm Technicians are already aware of it and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

If I receive an update I'll post it here.

Correct, Meow, Technical Support would be best suited to help someone troubleshoot an issue with installing and playing the game, they are not Realm Technicians.

The thread was moved here so that if those of us in In-Game Support had information on the realm we could pass it along.

I understand your frustration with the realm going down but please stop with the hyperbole.

Let's not venture into subjects that would be inappropriate for the forums, folks. :)

As an update it looks like our Techs have found the cause and they are working to resolve it. I don't have an ETA as of yet but I hope to soon.

To be clear, Kaidiel, creating a character on a realm and logging that character in is not considered a violation of our Terms of Use. However, we will respond to any reports of behavior that does.

You may report individual characters by submitting an in-game petition, we will investigate any claims made and take what actions are deemed appropriate.

Spam is a different matter and the Report Spam feature is best suited to address it and no, any petition you submit will not be ignored, it will be looked into and any violations found will be addressed accordingly. We do not require detailed reports of violations, if the violation is not spam related we simply need the name of the character, an example of what was said is appreciated but not required. I would hope you would know better. :)

Unlikely, Hamat, if there were an ongoing issue with a particular realm the goal would be to find and address that issue. We have never offered Free Character Moves unless the realm population was abnormally high, in those cases we would offer Free Character Moves to selected low population realms.

As you know the realm has returned and it appears that it has remained stable. Our Realm Technicians will continue to monitor it but it looks good.

It seems that there is a noticeable delay while attempting to log in but they seem to be going through. I'll see what I can find out but I'll probably use a different thread as this isn't specific to Blackrock.

Realm appears up, Corack, there seems to be an issue logging into the game that is affecting some people but Blackrock itself is up and has players on it.
