As many of you are aware, the first round of BlizzCon 2010 ticket sales will begin this Wednesday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. Pacific time! A second round of sales will also be offered starting on Saturday, June 5 at 10 a.m. Pacific time. Tickets will be sold for $150.00 USD each.
If you are interested in purchasing tickets this year, please review the official press release (http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/press/pressreleases.html?100518) for further details and be sure to visit http://www.blizzcon.com or the online Blizzard Store (http://us.blizzard.com/store/index.xml) on June 2 or June 5 to buy your tickets. To ensure that your purchasing experience goes as smoothly as possible, we also encourage you to keep the following tips in mind:
- Make Sure Your Battle.net Account is Set Up Properly
Setting up a Battle.net account is quick and easy, but if you wait until after BlizzCon 2010 tickets go on sale to create yours it might be too late. Tickets can sell out quickly, so please set up your Battle.net account as soon as possible—and be sure to verify your contact and billing information ahead of time!
Contact Your Financial Institution
Before you attempt to purchase a BlizzCon 2010 ticket, we strongly recommend that you contact your financial institution to discuss any possible restrictions that may prevent your purchase. While your financial institution may be accustomed to seeing monthly $14.99 USD charges by Blizzard Entertainment, larger charges in excess of $150.00 USD may be restricted if not expected. It’s important that these issues be addressed ahead of time, as you will only have 15 minutes to finalize your BlizzCon 2010 ticket transaction after reaching checkout.
Prepare a Back-Up Payment Method
In the event that your primary payment method cannot be authorized, it can be extremely helpful to have a back-up payment method on hand. If you elect to prepare a back-up payment method, we also recommend that you contact its sponsoring financial institution in addition to that of your primary payment method prior to starting your purchase.
Check Your Browser Settings
To properly progress in our Blizzard Store queue, your browser must be set up to allow cookies. If your browser is not set up to allow and automatically refresh cookies, you will be unable to move forward in the queue and may even lose your place within it. Because of this, we strongly encourage you to check your browser settings to verify that cookies are enabled before you begin your BlizzCon 2010 ticket purchase.

Confirm Your Purchase
If your BlizzCon 2010 ticket purchase is successful, you will receive a confirmation receipt. This receipt will be sent to the email address registered to the purchasing Battle.net account. If you do not receive a receipt, please check your Spam and Junk email folders and then confirm your purchase by checking your Order History on the Blizzard Store.
