Hacked: can play alts while in resto queue?

Was wondering if it is safe to play on my alts while my account gets restored? I know the queue is long, and I don't want to bug the GM's with questions of "When will it be done?" etc, so I figured that's a good use of my time.

Was hacked this morning, opened a GM ticket via the web and in game.

Was able to reset my password so that they can't get back in, and in the process of reinstalling my PC to ensure there is 0 malware (better safe than sorry).

Just wanted to make sure before I do. I've got a few toons that they didn't clear out =)

Also, is there anything else I should be doing (making a list of what's missing, exact toon names that have been messed with, etc.) that will make the GM's job easier in restoring my account? One of the toons got transfered to a different realm.

You're welcome to play any characters which were not involved in a paid service (e.g. Faction Change, Paid Character Transfer, etc.) without fear of losing any progress or delaying the restoration, Kryptodeath. All we need you to do at this point is remain as patient as possible. You may, however, choose to fill out the following webform to improve the chances that our representatives will be able to reverse any unauthorized transfers as soon as possible:

Q u o t e:
What's the timeframe on transfer reversal? Is it about the same as the gear restoration?

It's difficult to predict. It should be slightly shorter than the wait for gear restoration (which currently averages around 9 to 10 days currently), though. :)

Oh, and btw, it appears they tried to add an authenticator, but it doesn't seem that they were fully successful. However, there is a gorehound in my mailbox. Should I just leave it there? Don't want to get in trouble.

You can delete the mail or claim the item and delete it if you like. No point in having it take up your space in your mailbox. :)
