Character name [Transfer]

A few months ago I transferred and I was unable to save my old name, because it was locked for 60 days. So I waited about 60 days logged on so I could save my name and someone already took the name, After talking to a few people they told me that if I posted they would force a rename if the character was inactive, I don't see the character on armory so I'm sure it's a level 1

Transferring does not lock your name. If you used a service to change your name it would be locked for 90 days.

If the name was changed using the Paid Character Name Change, Re-customization, the previous name is locked out for 90 days. We are unable to remove that cooldown period, the process is automatic.

Otherwise the only time a name would be unavailable is if it was taken by another player or it is marked as reserved by us.
