Suspicious AH pricing / postings

Greetings.

How do I start an investigation into, what I believe, is a possible gold farmer posting on multiple alts?

Example:

Level 5 green mace.

35 G starting
41 G buyout

(Yet, it's listed like that---the exact same price for level 5-60 items...except for blue-quality items, which always go for just under 200 G)

Anyway...I don't know how to quite explain this.

These 10 characters which are posting for ridiculous amounts of gold--well....they own what it appears to be half, or more of the Zul'Jin auction house...when it comes to armor, and weaponry.

Almost every single item is owned, and listed, by the exact same main/alts for super-high pricing.

Also, they appear to be listing the same "type" of item, as well.

Example:

level 11 green mace "of the monkey"

level 11 green mace "of the monkey"

level 11 green mace "of the monkey"

---but, it's listed multiple times under different toons.

A great example is the Blackwater Cutlass. There is about 2-3 pages of nothing but the Cutlass for over 20 Gold--listed by the same three toons which own half the armor/weapon listings.

Anyway...what do you guys think? Someone with way too much gold on their hands to purchase half of the auction house? Or, on the flip side...possible gold farmer?

Thanks for reading this.

Kraye.

I submitted a ticket, in-game, as well. Just seems suspicious to me.

There is actually nothing wrong with this whatsoever. The AH is a completely free market. You can list, buy and sell items for whatever you want.

This is correct, but there's nothing wrong with submitting an in-game petition if you're suspicious that there may be foul play involved. We'll gladly take a look and take all appropriate action. :)
