Discrimination

So I have an undead warrior named <removed>, and I'm being forced to rename. There's nothing hateful or vile about my name, no curseing in the name, nothing discriminatory at all, no racial slurs, no allusions to or promotions of racial or ethnic hatred. My name literally means undead power, as a WIGHT is an undead creature of myth. Why am I being singled out? This is discrimination; I'm not saying down with any race, and I'm not being racist. It's not <removed>. It's <removed>. I ask you to repeal my rename. This is unfair.

Unfortunately, your creativity and mass perception of the name don't jive well. Blizzard is here to enforce for the betterment of the community at large. With that in mind, it's certainly not difficult to see where the issue is.

You're more than welcome to make an appeal to the email address provided earlier. If you go that route, I wish you the best of luck.

Very well said.

Hærtlëss, though your motives may have been benign we must judge a name based how it can be interpreted and its overall impact. As Barolas said you are welcome to dispute what actions have been taken with our Account Administration department.

I'll create another name, one with equal impact. If i'm not asked to rename by the time I reach level 50, then something is truly wrong with the community.
