Character Transfer Inquiry

I am just inquiring about transferring from a account that is only normal world of warcraft to a account that is fully updated wrath of the lich king. For example if I made a account and only bought the first world of warcraft and leveled a toon to 60 could i then x-fer the toon off to a account that is fully updated to wrath of the lich king with out problem. as long as the last names are the same on both accounts would the fact that one account is updated more then another be a issue.
Tyvm for any help or oppinions that can be offered.

As Tengianna indicated as long as you are the registered user of both accounts you should be able to transfer barring any other restrictions.

You may transfer a character from a Vanilla account to a Vanilla, Burning Crusade or Wrath of the Lich King enabled accounts. Burning Crusade enabled accounts may transfer to Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King enabled accounts and Wrath of the Lich King accounts can transfer only to other Wrath of the Lich King accounts. This is a one way transfer, you may not transfer a character from a higher version to a lower one.
