Found the following in my junk folder....

From: --<REMOVED>--

world of warcraft: Cataclysm Beta Test Invitation!

Get those opt-ins ready for the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm closed beta! The sundering of Azeroth is nigh, and you don’t want to be left out in the cold of Northrend when you could be enjoying the sun-drenched beaches on the goblin isle of Kezan. To ensure you’re opted-in and eligible as a potential candidate, you’ll need a World of Warcraft license attached to your Battle.net account, have your current system specifications uploaded to the Battle.net Beta Profile Settings page, and have expressed interest through the franchise-specific check boxes.

Get the Installer - Log in to your Battle.net account:

** IMPORTANT ** To avoid graphical bugs and other technical issues, please ensure your video card drivers are up-to-date.

Enjoy the game!

Now this looks possibly legit, but a couple of things worry me. One, that it went into my junk folder. Two, the first 'world of warcraft' isn't capitalized. Any suggestions?

Edit: Accidentally, clicked on the link while scrolling my mail page and Firefox blocked the link saying it was a scam. Assuming it is a scam at this point.

That's very likely a phishing message, actually. The first post in our sticky here describes steps you can take to identify where that message truly originated from, and follow-up posts contain examples of other phishing messages that have been used. I believe the last post on page 6 contains a message very similar to the one you've received:

Fake E-mails from "Blizzard Entertainment"

Q u o t e:
Simply log in to battle.net from their site, going there by typing the url in your address bar, and check your games, I imagine the cata beta will just appear there like my SC2 beta did.

Correct!
