After regular maintenance yesterday I used my credit card to have this toon transfer to horde on this same server. It says still pending on the site and the money hasnt been taken off my card yet but on my credit card it is saying the money has already taken out of my card.

Now can someone explain to me what is going on. I have never had it take this long for a faction transfer. And it is worrying me that my credit card is telling me that the transaction has went thru but on the site is telling me it hasnt. So what is going on?

what really irritates me is i get this when i check the status

These faction changes are currently being processed. You may still cancel these transations, since your credit card has not been charged.

heres the thing my freakign card WAS Charged...come on blizzard are u taking our money now or what?

When realms are not available, services that touch those realms may not go through immediately.

When you request multiple services (or multiple times) multiple pending charges aren't uncommon. Those should drop off on their own in a few days. How long they remain pending depends on the rules of your financial institution. I'd just let this sit and process for awhile. Given these processes weren't fully running with so many realms unavailable, there may be a bit of a backlog to work through.

its 549 am here there is no way to contact them at this time of morning. but the 1st cancelled xfer will be refunded though ?

I don't if it was ever to the 'charge' stage, that's likely just a pending charge.

Those do indeed reduce your available balance or credit - those funds get put on 'hold'....but it never actually goes anywhere unless a final charge comes through to match up to it.

ok i dotn know much abotu the bankign end of things so whenever u iniate a transaction they put the money on hold until the company that is supposed to receive it does their end and if the company doenst take the money it gets added back to the balance ok that makes sense thats all i wanted to know...

any eta on faction xfers going through anyways? im so used to the 30 minute wait sometimes we have had only 5 minutes wait time. so this was really unfamiliar territory for us

They normally go through quite quickly, but there are times when there may be a queue - especially if realms are unavailable for maintenance. I really don't have an estimate at this time. They can take up to 72 hours, but that is rare.

Exactly the same boat as you.

Put mine in on 6th of june, credit card got charged within 15mins of me initiating it, character has been locked ever since. My bank also says it was cleared on the 6th.

I would cancel it but i can't. Unlock my character blizzard.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience, Lagster.

In your case, I'd recommend giving Billing a ring. I'm honestly not certain what's happened in your case or why that's locked. They should be able to see more than I can.
