Question: Have I waited enough?

I was doing some research about "We are currently experiencing a high volume of petitions".
As I was doing this "research" I kept running across "20 hours is the usual wait time for tickets". I have waited for a good 25+ hours and I just wanted to know if that "20 hour wait" is real or do I have to wait longer? In any of my past petitions I have never had to wait longer than 5 hours.

Any advice would be a great help! :)
