Cataclysm development continues. We have a lot of information out already on it and will get out more information as we can. Feel free to peruse the information in the sticky at the top of this forum. Also, feel free to enjoy the screenshot of the day we have been releasing. While we know it's not the same as getting your hands on it, we're not ready for that stage just yet. If you're interested in the beta, be sure to opt in via your Battle.net account. We're looking forward to getting your constructive feedback when the time comes.
The devil is in the details and we've found that when we miss sharing those at times, that it's those very details that many people want to see.

We'll make it very clear when the time comes that the beta has started and what to expect if you are selected. Currently, with the StarCraft II beta, players who were selected were sent an email and were asked to log into their Battle.net account to access the beta download. Cataclysm beta should work similarly. We'll do our best to be as clear in the process as we can so that everyone can hopefully avoid the more unscrupulous schemers who attempt to phish for accounts.
Just to be clear now, we have not started any beta invites at this time. Please be cautious of any emails you may receive until we say otherwise.

Will we know we got in beta faster by logging in to our bnet account tho? I knew I was in SC2 beta because I logged on my bnet account. Received the email a few days ago :-/.
Well, hopefully, we don't run into that with Cataclysm betas invitations, but I can't see the future no matter how hard I squint at it.
